Part I: RWS, Starz @HardRock

Having wanting to have a look at the newly built IR, RWS. I requested the 'the visit' to be on my birthday since we were thinking of a place to dine. So RWS it was...

Mode of transportation to RWS? Many.

By car, by public buses, by sentosa express, cable car or even by shuttle bus at AMK/Bishan/Jurong East/Tampines/Tiong Bahru.

Upon arrival, the ground where you will first step into is known as Festiva Terrace.

(don't the roof look similar to the ones at Clarke Quay?)

At Festiva Terrace, you'll be mesmerized by how beautiful the Lake of Dreams can be especially when night falls.

Taking the resort guide, we discovered a shortcut to Hard Rock Hotel on the map but couldn't find it or rather it was a road block so we had to go by the longer way. At least we could explore more.

At Level 1 of The Forum, one can find F&B outlets like 'The Big Easy', 'Hard Rock Cafe', 'Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf', 'Brunette & Social House', 'Seventh Heaven', Asia Street Gourmet such as 'Baits' and Retail shops like 'The Oaks Cellar'.

Our journey continues as we passed by Universal Studio (still ever as crowded)

The Bull Ring which is situated in the heart of RWS has a shop that sells the most addictive popcorns - Garrett (worth trying!)

And then they have Hershey's. (my childhood favourite!)

Walking up the flight of steps of the Festiva Terrace, I was amazed by the statues and leaf-like poll lights.

As we are heading towards Hard Rock, we had to go by Galleria's route.
A row of luxury brands such as Bally, Bulgari, Canali, Chanel Watches, Chopard, Coach, Jimmy Choo, Omega, Eye-Spy, Damiani, Dunhill, Ralph Lauren, Rolex, Shanghai Tang, Victoria's Secret and many others are offered for customers and/or for in-house guests.

I like the concept of the see through gym but the only problem is its location (i sure don't wanna have passersby looking in while i'm doing my workout)

Comparing all the hotels, Hard Rock's design and concept is my favourite. Very classy indeed. With it's dim lighting playing a part, it made the whole atmosphere really cozy.
