Birthday (Part 1)

My day was spent mostly at work with warm wishes received from colleagues, lunch treat and surprise birthday present from my lovely supervisors, and then it was dinner with the family @Oriental after knocking off from work.

Food and service is ever so personalized, and I sure enjoyed the great company of my family. YOU♥, due to training could only join us back home for cake cutting and sadly missed out on good food but sis & myself were "kind" enough to film 2videos during the dinner which was specially dedicated to him.HOHOHO.

Birthday (Part 2)

Agreed to wear black (my new polo T as a present from them)

Not realising that the rest of my department ladies wore black too until other colleagues mentioned, we decided to take a few shots for this once in a blue moon "occasion".

As YOU♥ couldn't celebrate my birthday on my actually day, he made up the next day by bringing me to Food Place @Raffles City for dinner (quite good Japanese food there) followed by a romantic evening at The Marina Barrage(:

Since mom was bugging me to bake the instant cocoa power to make the chocolate cake which had apparently already expired and since both YOU♥ and yours truly skipped training due to backaches that is 845743985968569584x worse than his because I was practically walking and moving like 3/4 of a pregnant woman and 1/4 of a 70+ old woman, we decided to bake the cake together.

instants are really easy and fast to do. Great for tea breaks with family and friends! So buy a box of Betty's today(:

if you don't want the top of the cake to be like that as shown in the picture, buy some cream to cover it but the top part is the best part to be eaten!

The cake we made this time round was a little to the dry side because I was so engrossed in watching HBO on television. Opps.

After enjoying the cake with the presence of everyone in the family, I had nothing better to do but to pluck his facial hair with my make-up twisers.Eeeeekkss...so many!
