(one time experience) Having had the honor to be invited to YOU♥ Convocation, I willingly agreed to attend this important event. Graduates of 2008-2009  ~ A well-said speech by a guest speaker (can't recall his name)  ~ it started off with "Doctor of Philosophy"  ~ followed by "Master of Education" (English Language, Chinese Language, Malay Language, etc)  ~ A short performance   ~ "Master of Engineering"  ~ "Bachelor of Engineering" (MSE) here he comes!   ~ Although the whole ceremony lasted about 2hrs plus with refreshments after that, it was quite an eye-opener. I wonder if my grad ceremony next year would just as eye-opening as his. ~ ~ A proud mother(:   ~ A proud gf(:   ~ pictures with his buddies  ~ "Lin Clan"  p/s - Though I'm not and never will be a student at NTU, I'll still miss the tour around your school, canteen 2, canteen 13 and Hall 16C. (twinkled in the sky) A newly renovated house for his family to move into FINALLY!, after weeks of tearing & knocking and putting up the new furniture. From the old to the new... the living room transformed from this....   ~ to that! (with a new flooring and walls newly coated) .JPG) ~ the kitchen transformed into...   this! .JPG) the new toilet! .JPG) Then it was CLEANING TIME! We took about 2D/2N to clean up the place spic and span which involved sweeping and washing the floors, moving and wiping the kitchen appliances and furniture back to where they belong, and cleaning the rooms. And ohhh dear..I broke the mop! ~ Accompanied his family to IKEA and Courts about a week after that to get the remaining furniture they needed and boy..you should have seen the layers of stuff they got! :O But the "outing" was pretty fun though we were all really tired at the end of the day with a whole day's walking at IKEA (mostly!) ~ ~ ~ HAPPY 9TH♥ And happy 1year anni "mummy & daddy" happy 1year anni michelle HEHE Labels: 28 (-2) days left penned by ash.

A Saturday Spent... (that's why i love you)   ~ Two Saturdays ago, just the week after June Race, we decided to head down to the nearest swimming complex for a swim and some sun-tanning which turned out to be of more tanning and talking and less swimming. Age must be really catching up on us, in the past swimming 20 laps continuously was a norm BUT now swimming 2 laps was like an achievement for the day (goodness! this makes it sound as though I am in my seventies). ~ Well, in the end we managed to complete our quota for the day, 10 laps! (Phew~) ~  ~ Feeling hungry and it was about lunch time, we made our way to garden's market for western food, wanton mee, an additional bowl of wanton soup, and a refreshing cornless ice kachang! ~  WHAT A SATURDAY SPENT!
