R.I.P Park Yong Ha ~ ![]() ~ Stumbling upon a shocking news online which read, "Korean star Park Yong-ha found dead in apparent suicide" It was really saddening to hear that our (Jessica and I) idol we were crazy over back in secondary school days hung himself with an electrical cord in his room. More and more stars are ending their lives due to depression resulting from too much stress. According to the Health Ministry, 23.9 in every 100,000 South Koreans committed suicide in 2007, compared with 19.4 in Japan, 16.7 in Finland, 14.2 in France and 14.0 in Switzerland. Suicide is the highest cause of death among those in their twenties and thirties in South Korea, which in 2007 had the highest suicide rate among members of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development. Is suicide really the only way out? ~ Sigh. penned by ash.

Fathers Are God's Masterpieces ~ As most would say they are much closer to their moms as compared to their dads (i won't disagree, even this has proven according to a study i read quite sometime back in the papers). However, we must still respect and love them as Fathers are just as important as Mothers in our lives. ~ So the note on a old rugged looking paper to my father goes like this... ~ "God took the strength of a mountain, the majesty of a tree, the warmth of a summer sun, the calm of a quiet sea, the generous soul of nature, the comforting arm of night, the wisdom of the ages, the power of the eagle’s flight, the joy of a morning in spring the faith of a mustard seed the patience of eternity, the depth of a family need, then God combined these qualities when there was nothing more to add, He knew His masterpiece has completed and so, He called it, Dad. ~ ~ I decided to try out a new dish for the occasion- Pumpkin Fried Rice ~ Step 1: You'll need cabbage, pumpkin, chicken breast, rice, black sauce, salt ~ Step 2: Add oil and copped garlic ~ Step 3: Add the chicken (cubed) ~ Step 4: Add in the pumpkin (cubed) and cabbage Step 5: And finally the rice. Pour in black sauce and salt ~ Step 6: Then pour the rice into the cooker and add water ~ Step 7: Leave it to cook for about 25minutes ~ And WALLA... PUMPKIN FRIED RICE = another success! penned by ash.
